I don't want to hurt my brain right now...have to be ready to watch the Super Bowl game later on today...but I think the third one would make a very cute mouse if you finished with the body...hmmmm something for you to think about huh Janey O Janey....What do you think. You could make sure the mousey had a tu tu and ballet slippers.

It looks like a technique I was fooling around with a year or so ago...mentioned it to Georgia but only developed a couple of little patterns for it and never did anything else with it. Is is a split self-closing mock ring?

hmmm....3 shuttles???? o.O

SCMR so you have 2 shuttles doing the chain. continue the chain and instead of closing the ring you join the ring thread to a picot on the chain...

hmmmm somehow sounds a little far fetched lol.

How DID you do tat?

I'm with Sherry, I thought dainty little mouse face right away with the third one.

I can see how to work the first one, but not sure how to work that bead in the SCMR in the second one.

What this little mouse face reminds me of is...(and maybe some of you with children will know what I am talking about) Angelina the Ballet cartoon mouse. She really does remind me of her...but that is a mouse face if I have ever seen one. It also reminds me of another animal I saw on "Tom and Jerry" cartoon where Jerry had a friend that was......which scared the heck out of Tom.
Just thinking here....I am sick as a dog the past couple of days and maybe since I sound like I am brain fried...I better go and lay down. No tatting for me this evening...I am feeling way too sick for even that...

Looking at #3, I thought of the character Angelina Ballerina, a mouse from a kid's book.

Too cute!
